The NCKU Formula Racing Team proudly presents its latest achievement, the fifth-generation electric car "CK05," at the 2035 E-Mobility Taiwan Exhibition from April 17th to 20th. Sponsored by Shing Shing Long, our longstanding industry-academic collaboration with NCKU Formula Racing has fueled students' racing dreams for years.

The "CK05" represents a significant leap forward in electric vehicle technology, enhancing the performance and compliance of its predecessor. With streamlined electronic wiring, optimized battery cell arrangement, and carbon fiber construction using RTM methods, the vehicle achieves unprecedented lightness and reliability, weighing in at just 250 kg. Notable updates include a lightweight rear suspension system, optimized transmission, and a three-piece body shell for improved aerodynamics. Moreover, the addition of a rear-wheel torque distribution system promises enhanced handling and control.

Comprising students from diverse fields including engineering, design, project management, and business, the NCKU Formula Racing Team exemplifies interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. This competition not only allows students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges but also expands their horizons through hands-on experience in building cutting-edge electric racing cars.

Looking ahead, National Cheng Kung University Racing aims to compete in the FSAE-Japan in September, representing Taiwan on the international stage. We are confident that this endeavor will not only elevate the skills of our students but also inspire them to reach new heights and bring honor to our country.
